Today we begin the stretch again of Ordinary
Time. This starts with the Gospel
account from John recounting the call of the disciples. We can now begin to mark the work of the
adult Jesus. Having recalled the Baptism
of the Lord last week, this is a good time for each of us to reflect on how we
too are called by our Baptism to dedicated ourselves to follow the Lord. After hearing the readings today, what can
they remind us about how God is calling us?
