Pentecost Sunday
On this final Sunday of the Eater season, we celebrate what
some call the “birthday of the church.”
In fire and wind the Spirit of the Lord descended with the seven-fold gifts
of wisdom, understanding, right judgment, courage, knowledge, reverence and
wonder. Let us pray today that the promise of the
church on this celebration day of its birth, may continue to be realized in
each of us as we attend to the movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives. - Deacon Jim
