Sixth Sunday of Easter

“If you love me, show me!”
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” If you love me! That seems like a very interesting statement,
and yet, I think it simply means, “If you love me, show me you do.” How often do I hear two people who are in
love telling each other that they love one another, and yet, the real test is
in our actions. If you love me, prove
it. If you love me show it in the
way you treat me, in the way you live your life. We forget sometimes that it is not enough to
just say, “I love Jesus” or “Jesus is Lord and Savior of my life.” How we live our life does make a
difference. “If you love me, show me!”
