Second Sunday of
Easter
Divine Mercy Sunday
Jesus presents us with yet another Beatitude today: “Blessed are those who have not seen and have
believed.” How strong is our
belief? Do our actions speak for us or
not? Today we are challenged by the
example of the early Christian community in the passage from the Acts of the
Apostles. “There was no needy person
among them.” We are all called as
Christians to live so that what was true of the early Christians will be said
of us. Let us pray today for the grace
to respond to this calling from God.
